(OOC) The Land of Fire Characters

(1) Mugen Kakusu-Ken

Current Status: Alive
Mugen's family was originally from the Cloud but he was born in the Leaf. When he was young, his parents died in battle leaving him in the care of his older sister. He known as an outcast because of his family but soon made himself known by his skills with knives and his father's short sword. he even went as far as learning marksmanship in his spare time. Mugen was competitive, sarcastic, some times hotheaded, yet laid back preferring to kick back and read books on his down time.

(2) Ryan Kasai

Current Status: Alive
Ryan Kasai is the a unique teen in the Hidden Leaf.  He's actually one of only few kids in the village who rollerblades as a hobbie. He was the class clown at the academy, making a name for himself.  His fiery attitude along with his fire style ninjutsu got him the nickname "Spit Fire."  Due to his silly and comical nature, the Hokage felt he needed more discipline and placed him in team Raiku, along with Mugen and Kaori.

(3) Kaori Yamanaka

Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Kaori is a member of the Leaf Village's Yamanaka clan.  Kaori developed a very tomboyish personality, having grown up with all male siblings, cousins and mostly male neighbors.  She is also skilled in various Yamanaka exclusive jutsu which her father taught her at a young age.  Upon graduating from the academy, she was determined to be the most skilled kunoichi ever and to be respected by her male teammates, sensei, and father.

(4) Raiku Zari

Current Status: Alive
Raiku Zari is a jonin level shinobi of Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village).  Raiku has been raised by a single mother ever since he lost his father at a young age.  His father was killed in a major battle which also resulted in the death of Naruto Uzumaki, the 6th Hokage.  Since he entered the academy, Raiku showed exceptional skills as a shinobi and became a jonin at the early age of 16.  Raiku is now the leader of Squad 5, aka Team Raiku.

Squad 1 aka Team Tanzu


(1) Habashi Hyuga
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Habashi is a Hyuga born into the branch house of the Hyuga clan.  Born prematurely, Habashi was born with one black eye and one white eye rather than blue eyes like other Hyugas.  Feeling self conscious about his eyes, Habashi decided to wear his head band like a mask and use his Byakugan to see.  Such extensive use of the Byakugan was expected to strain his eyes, but somehow his eyes have survived.  It is believed that whatever birth defect caused his eyes to be miscolored, also gave him a much stronger Byakugan than other Hyugas.  Habashi considers both of his teammates as more of a liability than an asset.

(2)Eren Kyokotsu

Current Status: Alive
Eren is a comical and relaxed individual, often not taking things seriously. Eren can often times make reckless decisions and has probably only made it as far as he has because of his parents' constant encouragement and assistance.  Eren relies more on weaponry and taijutsu than ninjutsu, considering the latter to be a hassle.

(3) Kia Shirayuki
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Kia is the daughter of two exceptional medical ninja of the Hidden Leaf.  As a result, Kia grew up learning how to use medical jutsu and thus knows fairly advanced techniques for her age.  Although she excels in medical ninjutsu, she knowns very few non-medical ninjutsu, and also has little to no skill with genjutsu or taijutsu.  Despite her slightly immodest uniform, Kia is very quiet and reserved.

(4) Tanzu Shiboshi

Age: 27
Current Status: Deceased (Killed by Danji in chapter 3)
Tanzu is a skilled Jonin of the Hidden Leaf Village.  Previously an Anbu, Tanzu specializes in stealthy assassinations and information gathering.  Tanzu also trained under the previous Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, for several years.  In those years, he managed to learn the Rasengan and become friends with Gamatatsu.  Tanzu is currently the leader of Squad 1.

(5) Amaru Gachi

Gender: Male
Age: 13
Current Status: Alive
Amaru is a shinobi born of a mother from the Leaf Village and a father from the Cloud Village.  Amaru's mother was gang rapped while on a mission and became pregnant.  She chose to keep the child.  Amaru possesses the Gale Style kekkei genkai through his father's bloodline, and is only the second person in Hidden Leaf history to possess it. Upon graduating from the academy, Amaru was placed in squad 2, aka team Inori.

(6) Nani Aburame

Gender: Female
Age: 13
Current Status: Alive
Nani is the daughter of Shino Aburame, the current head of the Aburame clan.  Nani is the middle child, having one older brother who is a Chunin and one younger brother who is in the academy.  Also, like most aburame, Nani doesn't talk much.  Upon graduating from the academy, Nani was placed in squad 2, aka team Inori.

(7) Lien Sogyo

Gender: Female
Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Lien Sogyo (aka Rock Lien) is the daughter of Rock Lee and his wife, Yanira Sogyo.  Lien is almost an exact copy of her father.  The relationship they have highly resembles the one Lee had with his sensei Might Guy. Although her real name is Lien Sogyo, she prefers to be called Rock Lien, similar to how her father is called Rock Lee. Lien is hard working, obsessed with training, and has little skill in ninjutsu or genjutsu.  Lien will often push herself to the limit, and tries to push her teammates as well.  This often annoys Amaru and makes Nani feel uncomfortable. Upon graduating, Lien was placed in squad 2, aka team Inori.

( 8 ) Inori Yamanaka

Inori is the cousin of Ino Yamanaka.  Inori's skills are exceptional, and she was offered a position as an Anbu twice.  Both times, however, she refused.  Inori trained under lady Tsunade like her cousin Ino, and became highly skilled in medical ninjutsu.  Inori is a very gentle and caring person, and is currently married with a child in the academy.  Inori is currently the leader of squad 2.

(9) Shikaru Nara

Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Shikaru is the son of Shikamaru Nara, the current head of the Nara clan, and Temari of the Hidden Sand village.  Shikaru's personality (lazy, strategist, etc.) is much like his father.  However, he obtained his wind chakra nature through his mother's bloodline.  As the son of the current head of the Nara clan, Shikaru is a member of the current generation of Ino-Shika-Cho.  Upon graduating from the academy, Shikaru was placed in squad 3, aka team Onsui.

(10) Inomi Yamanaka

Age: 15
Current Status: Alive
Inomi is the daughter of Ino Yamanaka, the current head of the Yamanaka clan. Unlike her mother, Inomi is a very shy and reserved individual.  She actually started at the academy late because her parents did not feel she was ready to enter at the time. Inomi is more open, however, with her teammates.  As the daughter of the current head, Inomi is a member of the current generation of Ino-Shika-Cho.  Upon graduating from the academy, Inomi was placed in squad 3, aka team Onsui.

(11) Chojin Akimichi

Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Chojin Akimichi is the son of Choji Akimichi, the current head of the Akimichi clan.  Similar to his father, Chojin likes to eat a lot.  Unlike his father, however, he can tend to be cocky and is more aggressive.  Chojin wasn't very good at making friends in the academy, and soon became a bully to try and gain attention.  Despite his aggression, Shikaru befriended him and the two have been friends ever since. As the son of the current head of the Akimichi clan, Chojin is a member of the current generation of Ino-Shika-Cho. Upon graduating from the academy, Chojin was placed in squad 3, aka team Onsui.

(12) Onsui Kodaiba

Current Status: Alive
Onsui is a skilled jounin of the Hidden Leaf Village.  Onsui served as the instructor of the academy for several years after Iruko Umino, and has just recently moved to being a sensei.  Onsui possesses a rare kekkei genkai known as the Lava (or Corrosion) Style.  This kekkei genkai fuses the Earth Style and Fire Style natures together.  Onsui is currently the leader of squad 3.

(13)Kazuma Ryuuga

Current Status: Alive

Growing up wasn’t easy for this young shinobi. Kazuma’s parents died during an S-class mission when he was just a boy, rendering him an orphan. He was then adopted by a swordsman named Mifune after he found the boy wreaking havoc, mischief, and getting into fights in a town near Konohakagure. Mifune taught him self-control, discipline, and a special sword technique only taught to a very rare few. Kazuma decides to enroll in the ninja academy in the leaf village and graduated as the top 3 genin in his class because of his special jonin-level skills. Usually laid back, calm, and prude, he’s been known to be a shallow blunt jerk that doesn’t care for things that do not affect him directly, preferring to be a “neutral party” and does things his own way; he hates conflicts, but won’t hesitate to dish out a beating. Because of his mixture of ninja and swordsman training, he’s practically a weapons expert, earning the nickname “X Blade”, but prefers to be a defensive fighter. Kazuma’s an exceptional tactician and close combat fighter, excelling in mainly taijustu and genjustu; although he can learn numerous amounts of ninjustu styles, Ryuuga specialized in fire and lightning style techniques, but uses ninjustu only if deemed necessary.

(14) Hizana Uzumaki

Current Status: Alive
Hizana is the daughter of the previous Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, and his wife Hinata Hyuga.  To this day, Hizana still grieves her fathers death, as it only happened a few years ago.  Hizana is shy like her mother but has sought to become more outgoing since her father's death.  Hizana has been trained in various techniques by both her father and mother and has also received the Byakugan through her mother's bloodline.  Upon graduating from the academy, Hizana was placed in squad 4, aka team Sanmaru.

(15) Zashimaru Renji

Age: 14
Current Status: Alive
Zashimaru is a skilled shinobi of the Hidden Leaf.  Since he first started training as a shinobi, Zashimaru has been fascinated with weaponry (mainly swords).  This has led him to incorporate weapons in most of his techniques.  Zashimaru often tries to get the attention of girls by showing off and making corny pick up lines.  Upon graduating from the academy, Zashimaru was placed in squad 4, aka team Sanmaru.

(16) Sanmaru Nara

Gender: Male
Age: 32
Current Status: Alive
Sanmaru is a member of the Nara clan. Sanmaru was on the battlefield alongside the previous Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, and was one of the few who survived the battle.  Sanmaru strongly holds with will of fire within him and would be willing to die for the Hokage or Hidden leaf without hesitation.  Sanmaru is currently the leader of squad 4.

(17) Rento Aya

Gender: Male
Age: 25
Current Status: Deceased (Killed by Rokku in chapter 3)
Rento Aya is a jonin level shinobi and the facilitator of the Chunin exams.  Although during the Chunin exams in the anime there were different facilitators (Ibiki, Anko, and Hayate) for each of the three portions of the exam, Rento facilitates all three portions (Written, Forest of Death, and Tournament.)

(18) Akira Kakusu-Ken

Age: ??
Current Status: Alive
Akira Kakusu-Ken is the older sister of Mugen Kakusu-Ken.  Akira was born in the Land of Lightning and immigrated to the Land of Fire with her family when she was young.  Through some unfortunate circumstances, Akira and Mugen became orphans and were taken in by the Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, until they could live on their own.

(19) Kaito Uzumaki

Age: ??
Current Status: Alive
Kaito Uzumaki is a Chunin level shinobi and the first child of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga.  Kaito's personality and appearance have taken more after his father, and unlike his sister, he has not gained the Byakugan through his mother.

(20) Kitsune Kasai

Gender: Male
Age: 17
Current Status: Alive
Born in the Leaf Village to an ambu mother; Kitsune was trained to be the best shinobi in the village. Oneday on a top secret mission Kitsune was betrayed by his best friend and was almost killed. He was saved by Sakura Haruno who brought him to Naruto where he sow to bring the trader back. Naruto decided to train the boy with his son and Akira Kakusu-ken by putting them together as a team. When Naruto died in battle Kitsune willingly became a Jinchuriki to keep Kaito and Hizana from bearing the burden.

(21) Taka Uchiha

Gender: Female
Age: 13
Current Status: Alive
Short Backstory: Taka grew up in one of the Uchiha secret hideouts to protect the new bloodline with her two older brothers. Although she was the youngest out of the three Taka pushed herself to be as good or better then her brothers. She was always the calm and collected type but from time to time shows a caring nature toward animals and nature itself. As news of the Akatsuki's return spread, she was ordered by her father, Sasuke Uchiha, to go to the leaf village where she was placed in squad 5 by the hokage.

(22) Ryuko Ryuuga

Age: 16 (last seen)
Status: unknown (last seen: Alive)

Ryuko is a chunin with elite jonin skills. She's very fluent in many ninjutsu and taijutsu, but still sticks to her Ryuuga clan roots (and stays true to her name which means "child of dragon"), thus making her a master in fire and lightning style. Don't let her innocent looks fool you; she tends to be practical and down-to-earth one moment, and a headstrong, fiery loose cannon the next. Her speed and agility is nothing to laugh at, but this "brawling bad girl's" strength can be monstrous; some even dare to say it can rival that of Sakura Haruno herself, earning a few nicknames like "Fire Smasher", "Rocket Fist", "Bad Girl Brawler", & "The Wandering Flame Princess".

After graduating from the Chunin Exams and the death of her parents, she left home and was never seen again. However, some have reported occasionally seeing her as a freelancer. Others say they would see her almost immediately after the sighting her older brother.

(23) Hiryu Ryuuga

Status: Unknown (Last seen alive)

Hiryu is the eldest of the Ryuuga siblings, and quite possibly one of the best. He was born with a natural talent of fighting, using both speed and destructive power. Living up to the meaning of his name ("Flying Dragon"), Hiryu is considered the fastest shinobi since the Fourth Hokage. Like any other Ryuuga, he excels in various jutsu; more-so fire and lightning style, but Hiryu favors genjutsu, raiton, and combining taijutsu with his sword. Distant, cold, brooding, and sometimes insidious, his personality helped him become a favorite when he was formerly part of the Anbu adopting titles like "Sky Reaper", and "Shadow Demon".

Hiryu was also supposed to be in line to head the family, but left possibly before (if not after) his parents died. He hasn't been seen until recent reports have sighted him working for the Akatsuki and other factions, yet his intentions remain unclear.
